Chinese actress gets mocked after revealing her weight online

While the general public always appreciates their favourite celebrities being as truthful and open as they possibly can be, honesty isn't always the best policy at times -- judging by the recent criticism aimed at Chinese actress Baby Guo.

The 22-year-old, who is active on social media, was initially mocked by netizens who criticized her her face, chin and figure, saying that she had manipulated those photos before posting them online.

Guo then tried to justify her weight by posting a full-body photo of herself on her Weibo account along with the caption: "Actually, I'm really very thin. I'm 1.63m tall and weigh 84 pounds (42kg). How much thinner can I go?"

That response led netizens to pour even more cold water on her. One of them even left a sarcastic comment, asking her if the weight was "referring to (her) face" only.
